Even with these pictures to identify, it can still be challenging to determine for sure if the stoneware is indeed Red Wing as other stoneware makers used designs similar to these.

Mc Coy pottery was established in Roseville, Ohio during September 1899. Although there was a significant amount of this type ware produced, none has been found with a markers mark. The hand-scribed mark found on this line is shown above.
